Event Description:
Michael Hayes Wilson of the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research will present a seminar, "From Flue Gas to Fungible Fuels: Demonstration of an Algae-based System for Flue Gas Utilization," at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, in 2001 Agricultural Sciences Building.
Wilson's research focuses on demonstration-scale, algae-based carbon mitigation technology development. he has presented his work as part of the U.S.-China Clean Energy Research Center, a major initiative of the U.S. Department of Energy and the China Ministry of Science and Technology.
The seminar is hosted by the Davis College's Division of Resource Management and the National Research Center for Coal and Energy.
