WVU Academy of Distinguished Alumni

Event Description
Each year the WVU Alumni Association recognizes the outstanding success of our graduates via induction into the WVU Academy of Distinguished Alumni.

On Friday, Feb. 22, three outstanding alumni will be inducted in the Academy. Mr. K.W. Lee ('53), investigative reporter; Mr. Joel Newman, President of the American Feed Industry Association ('71); and Mr. Rouzbeh Yassini-Fard ('81), founder of the modern day cable modem and founder/CEO of YAS Capital Partners LLC. The three gentlemen will be officially inducted during a special ceremony at The Erickson Alumni Center on  Friday, Feb. 22.

A cocktail reception/social will be held beginning at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and induction ceremony at 7 p.m. Alumni/friends interested in attending the event should contact Tara Curtis, 304-293-0972 or tecurtis@mail.wvu.edu
