Event Description An extraordinary, must-see documentary, "Passionate Politics: The Life and Work of Charlotte Bunch" explores compelling issues in women's and gender Studies, human rights & global concerns, public policy, government, sociology, political science, social movements, and lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender studies. Told by the women around the world who have worked with Charlotte Bunch to put women’s rights on the global human rights agenda, the film brings Charlotte Bunch’s story to life: from idealistic young civil rights organizer, to feminist activist, to internationally recognized leader. This film will be presented by Dr. Ann Oberhauser, professor of geography and director of the Center for Women's and Gender Studies at West Virginia University. |
