GLORIA: IN HER OWN WORDS
An intimate biographical portrait of Gloria Steinem, a feminist icon for more than 40 years, Gloria: In Her Own Words profiles a woman whose primary focus has been the fight for women’s equal rights in the U.S. and around the world. The film tells the story of Steinem’s childhood and her transformation from reporter to feminist icon through recent interviews and stunning archival footage that showcase her wit, compassion, and keen sense of humor. This film will be presented by Allyson Perry, GTA in Women's and Gender Studies.
