Event Description
Kathy Kelly, three time nominee for the Noble Peace Prize will be speaking on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 7pm in the Business and Economics Building room 459. Kathy Kelly will talk about recent experiences in Afghanistan where she was a guest of the Afghan Peace Volunteers in August, 2013. This was her twelfth visit to Afghanistan. Kathy is a Co-Coordinator of Voice for Creative Nonviolence. Her presentation is part of the Gandhi-King lecture series. This event is sponsored by Student Advocates of Nonviolence, in association with the Department of Communications Studies and the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences.
