The History and Government Program invites faculty, staff, students, and community members to join us in the Carter Hall Auditorium on Thursday, February 26th at 6pm for the 15th annual Otis K. Rice Lecture. This year’s lecture will be delivered by Dr. T.R.C. “Bob” Hutton from Glenville State University. Dr. Hutton’s talk, entitled “entitled "The Baldwin-Felts Detectives, Before the Mine Wars, and After” explores the Baldwin-Felts detectives before and after the mine wars to chart a longer history of surveillance operations and manhunting in the coalfields.
