Exhibitions in the McGee Gallery bring ideas and objects together in new ways, highlighting the breadth and depth of the Art Museum’s permanent collection:

• Diversi Animali: Animal Imagery, a survey of how animals have been depicted in art across time and cultures,
• Encounters: Blanche Lazzell and the Art Colonies, featuring works by West Virginia native and noted American modern artist Blanche Lazzell during her time at art colonies in Woodstock, New York, and Provincetown, Massachusetts,
• and Femfolio: 20 Women Artists, on view in the Deem Print Gallery.

The McGee Gallery rotates every fall and spring with new thematic exhibitions drawn from the Art Museum’s holdings of more than 4,000 objects in diverse mediums.
