Exhibitions in the McGee Gallery bring ideas and objects together in new ways, highlighting the breadth and depth of the Art Museum's permanent collection.

In conjection with Off Kilter, On Point: Art of the 1960s, the Art Museum of WVU presents selections from its own collection created during the 1960s and early 1970s. The works in this exhibition complement those in Off Kilter and enrich the dialogue surrounding creative production in this turbulent era, which bore witness to profound social, political, and technological transformations. The prints, paintings, sculptures, and photographs included in this exhibition, show artists responding to their time with inventive explorations of diverse media and styles.

The McGee Gallery rotates every fall and spring with new theatic exhibitions drawn from the Art Museum's holdings of more than 4,000 objects in diverse mediums.
