The LGBTQ+ Center will be joined by the LGBTQ+ Club, oSTEM, and more student organizations to build an exhibit at this year’s Tunnel of Awareness like you’ve never seen before. The ToA is an annual event hosted by Residence Life that fosters a culture of curiosity and encourages self-discovery to ignite passion and purpose by featuring research and the production of creative work. Our exhibit will bring a cross-disciplinary perspective to build awareness of biological complexities in the animal kingdom and encourage attendees to re-evaluate nature through a new lens.

Students will walk through several exhibits and explore at their own pace. At the Biological Exuberance exhibit, students can engage in several activities that allow them to reflect on the beauty and complexity of the natural world, including an interactive photo board, links to a short-form video series with animal facts, a matching game pairing primate body language to its meaning, and even a round of bingo! Some activities can earn a chance to enter a raffle for animal plushies used in the display.
