The Center For Black Culture and the LGBTQ+ Center are excited to bring students to join the 5th annual Black Policy Day, an experiential learning opportunity to visit the State Capitol in Charleston, WV during one of the busiest days of the year.

Students will have the opportunity to learn about the legislative session, meet representatives, and engage in meaningful dialogue.

Itinerary for Tuesday, 2/24/26

6:00 am - Departure from the Mountainlair.

6:15 am - Departure from Towers to Charleston, WV.

9:00 am - Black Policy Day starts.

3:00 pm - Departure from Charleston to Morgantown.

6:00 pm - Drop off at Towers and Mountainlair.

RSVP Required by 02/22/26. Limited seats available. This event is free and open to all WVU students. Refundable participation fee of $10 to those who attend. Participants are encouraged to pack their own lunch.
