Cheat Narrows Rafting

Did you know Morgantown has world-class whitewater right on its doorstep? Join Adventure WV for an exhilarating trip down the Cheat Narrows section of the Cheat River, featuring 6 miles of thrilling and fun whitewater!

• WHEN: Saturday, September 14th, 2024 | 10:00am-5:00pm.
• WHERE: Outdoor Recreation Center within the Student Recreation Center.
• WHAT: Experience the beauty of the Cheat River and the excitement of navigating through the challenging and adventurous Cheat Narrows on a raft.
• WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement, bring an extra change of clothes to keep in the car in case of accidental swimming, a water bottle, and any snacks you might want. All other necessary equipment will be provided.
• GETTING THERE/TRANSPORTATION: The trip departs from the Student Recreation Center on the Evansdale Campus. Please note the PRT does not open until 9:30 am on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays. For alternate arrangements, email AWVGuidedTrips@mail.wvu.edu.
