It is our great pleasure to welcome you to a series of events celebrating the transformative power of community-engaged research and scholarship. This year is particularly special as we mark the five-year anniversary of the WVU Center for Resilient Communities (CRC)—a milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering collaborative, action-oriented scholarship with students, faculty, community partners, and organizations, that strengthens communities and promotes resilience across West Virginia and beyond.

We are pleased to have Dr. Bradley Wilson, Executive Director of the Center for Resilient Communities, and Dean Greg Dunaway, of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, joining us to offer their opening remarks. Events include the Internship Research Symposium, where 20 exceptional undergraduate students will present the results of their action research in collaboration with community-based organizations across the state of West Virginia, a Faculty Panel exploring Interdisciplinary Approaches to Community-Engaged Research, featuring Eberly College faculty members, and a Graduate Student Community-Engaged Research Symposium showcasing the innovative research being led by graduate students who are deeply committed to creative, community-driven solutions. Join us Friday, April 25th, from 9:00am-5:00pm on the third floor of Brooks Hall.
