DESCRIPTION:The West Virginia University School of Dentistry invites pre-de
 ntal college students to visit campus for Destination Dentistry\, a full-d
 ay open house at the WVU Health Sciences Center that provides prospective 
 students with the opportunity to experience a day as a student in the Doct
 or of Dental Surgery program.\n\n \n\nRegistration is required. Attendance
  is free and limited to 40 participants to ensure personalized attention a
 nd to closely mimic the size of a typical DDS cohort at WVU.\n\n \n\nThrou
 ghout the day\, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the aca
 demic program\, patient care experiences\, career opportunities\, admissio
 ns requirements and the application process. They will also participate in
  hands-on activities in the school’s dedicated dental student simulation
  lab and visit the state-of-the-art\, interprofessional Simulation Trainin
 g and Education for Patient Safety (STEPS) Center. Attendees will engage w
 ith current students and expert faculty in each session.
