The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the importance of not discriminating against patients as well as health care workers with natural hair. We will also discuss the issue of hair products in the healthcare facilities being based towards caucasian hair and not African American or other ethnic types of hair as well as discussing what we can do to navigate this.
