The fourth annual Heart Health and Black History Month discussion panel will take place Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the Mountainlair Gluck Theater.

The panel is comprised of health-care experts, key community members and students from WVU and state-level entities who will discuss several topics related to heart health and mental health.

The event is free and open to the public, with a question and answer session follows the discussion portion. Food and refreshments will be provided.

Panelists include:

• Kisstaman Epps, MA – Scholars Manager, West Virginia Area Health Education Centers
• Tazanna Epps, MS candidate – Clinical Mental Health Program, WVU College of Applied Human Sciences
• Zakiah Bailey, BSN-RN – Nurse, WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital
• Zyiah Bailey, BSN-RN -- Nurse, WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital
• Oluwakemi Tombi, M.D., MEHP – Clinical Research Scientist, WVU School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology

The discussion is presented by the Health Sciences Technology Academy (HSTA) Alumni Association and the Minority Association of Pre-healthcare Students (MAPS).
