Dr. Gale, associate professor of religious studies, will give an overview of the early beliefs of the afterlife and analyze Egypt’s unusual obsession. There will be an analysis to review Judeo-Christian-Islamic understandings of heaven, hell, and immortality. The focus of the talk will be to answer these questions:
Do all religions believe in final judgment? If there is no afterlife then what?
