We’re thrilled to collaborate with the Honors College for their Honors In Action initiative. This program helps make students into resilient, lifelong learners who embrace curiosity, service, and civility. We’re excited to help feature research and the production of creative work. As a collaborator in the Honors In Action program, the LGBTQ+ Center will host a table that helps students become more culturally savvy through experiential learning. 

Participants can explore several resources from the LGBTQ+ Center and others while they have the opportunity to participate in several short activities, like “Quick And Easy Language Do’s and Don’ts” and “Which Would You Choose?” These activities are centered around teaching students professionalism and allow students to practice cross-cultural interactions, practice skills and gain knowledge leaders use in the workplace, develop active listening skills, and demonstrate integrity in professional settings.
