About this Event
The WVU Center for Resilient Communities invites you to join a Spring Reading Group on the newly published book, Weaving a Fabric of Unity: Conversations on Education and Development, by Haleh Arbab, Gustavo Correa, and Bradley Wilson.
This timely and insightful book explores how collaborative approaches can foster unity across diverse communities and other related themes!
Drawing on experiences in the field, the authors discuss how action research can bridge divides, build trust, and create lasting change.
The reading group will meet weekly on Thursdays (starting March 13-May 1) from 12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. via Zoom. We will read one chapter each week.
Whether you're a student, an educator, researcher, or community member, we hope to have meaningful conversations that will deepen our understanding of how to engage meaningfully with communities.
On April 24, this reading group will have a chance to speak with the authors when the CRC welcomes the authors to the West Virginia University campus. More details are on their way!
