The LGBTQ+ Center is excited to support the student organization The LGBTQ+ Speaker’s Bureau in hosting their Discussion Circle Series. These events provide a place for peers to talk face-to-face,  discuss their lived experiences, and learn from each other what it’s like to be an LGBTQ+ college student today. These conversations are built around thoughtful prompts that are designed to spark critical thinking and address complex challenges that students must navigate to participate in higher education. 

Students are invited to gather on the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the Greenbrier Room of the Mountainlair from 4:00-5:00 pm. and casually discuss different topics relevant to the experience of LGBTQ+ people in higher ed. All voices and experiences are welcome. Topics will change depending on what’s going on each month, but it will always be a friendly and calm environment without judgment.
