Inclusivity Statement: Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure is a complex exploration of multiple themes that are relevant in our social ethos today: sexual Harassment, government regulation of morality, abuse of power, religion, and the foundations of the arrangement of marriage. Considered one of Shakespeare’s “Problem Plays” it walks the line between tragic subject matter and comedy as it deals with these themes, challenging the audience to search for their interpretation by incorporating unanswered and ambiguous conclusions.
