The ADVANCE Center invites faculty to register for the Fall 2025 Mentoring Workshop Series, a two-part, in-person program designed for faculty and staff who serve as mentors or administer mentoring programs in their units.

These interactive sessions are informed by mentoring research, and portions are adapted from the NSF-funded MarSci-LACE Mentor Development model. Session dates are as follows:

• Part I: Understanding Mentoring and Mentor Development – October 7 or October 21 

• Part II: Effective Mentoring Models - October 14 or October 28

Sessions will be held in the ADVANCE Center — Field Hall, room 2202 — and capped at 15 participants. Learn more here.
