Statler College’s Dean and the Associate Dean for Student, Faculty and Staff Engagement invite you to attend: “Alumni Mentoring Event: Empowering the Next Generation”

 

MENTOR: Mrs. Jill Burdette is a graduate of West Virginia University, with a Bachelor andMaster’s Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Following graduation, Ms. Burdette workedwith General Electric as a member of the Technical Leadership Program in the ElectricalDistribution & Control Division, with rotations that included customer service center, sales office,and manufacturing locations. In 2004, she joined GE Fanuc (GE Intelligent Platforms), as territorymanager focusing on PLC and PAC Systems, Process Control, Proficy Software, and Redundancy invarious industries, including power, water, machine control, and metals. As the vertical water salesmanager, she worked globally with consultants, equipment builders, solution providers, andmunicipalities. She is currently working with Emerson Electric as the Director of Strategic Accountsto help them solve their toughest problems, by understanding their business needs, being a thoughtleader and resource to them, and proactively bringing new ideas to the table as they focus on projectsaround the world.
