Mountaineer Midway is one of the signature celebrations of Welcome Week 2026, bringing carnival games, prizes, custom souvenirs, food trucks, and outdoor entertainment to campus. Students can ride the Ferris wheel, play Free Money Game Show, enjoy classic treats like cotton candy and funnel cakes while supplies last, and find a spot on the lawn for a showing of Project Hail Mary. This is a great way to spend time with friends, make memories at WVU, and be part of one of the week’s biggest events.

The first 700 students can claim a free event blanket.

Students must have the WVU ID to claim their event blanket and food ticket.
