WVU students are invited to visit the Mountainlair Green on Friday (Sept. 9) from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to take part in Mountaineer Friday.

Stop by the event and enjoy music, games, snacks and shop for the latest WVU gear to help cheer on the Mountaineer football team in their home opener, designated as the ‘Gold Rush’ against the Kansas on Saturday.

Mountaineer Friday will feature:

• A WVU Bookstore pop-up shop, where students will receive 10% off their purchase.
• Tailgate games, music and snacks provided by the Mountaineer Maniacs from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• An appearance by head football coach Neal Brown!
