The 2024 Peace Tree Ceremony, hosted annually by WVU's Native American Studies Program, will feature Guest of Honor Kody Grant (Pueblo of Isleta, Eastern Band of Cherokee), a respected Indigenous cultural and historical educator. The ceremony takes place outdoors at 11:30am, with Mr. Grant's public lecture slated for 5pm in the Gluck Theater, WVU Mountainlair Student Union. (The Peace Tree is located across the street from the front entrance of the Mountainlair. The Gluck Theater is also the rain location for the ceremony.)
