About this Event
Are you a parent or caregiver that has a child with special healthcare needs? Able to support and empower others? Kind, open-minded and a good listener? Emotionally able to connect with another parent raising a child with special healthcare needs and are interested in sharing your experiences? If so, then becoming a Parent to Parent Support Parent is for you.
This session will discuss the Parent to Parent of WV and the National Parent to Parent USA programs, your role as a Support Parent and ways to best support someone in a similar journey.
At the completion of this session, you will receive a certificate and can begin to empower others seeking support.
