 students with rented course materials at a lower\, flat-rate price before 
 the first day of classes. Starting on July 6\, students will automatically
  be opted into the program for the fall semester and will start receiving 
 emails from Barnes & Noble. Students can choose to opt out of the program 
 until Aug. 29.
