  written exam at the end of the course.\n\nMinimum student contact hours: 2
 6\n\nPrerequisites:\n\nCourse #510 completed within the last 7 years.Five y
 ears of construction safety experience.A bachelor or higher college degree 
 in occupational safety and health or industrial hygiene by an accredited co
 llege or university\, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP)\, or Certified 
 Industrial Hygienist (CIH)\, designation\, in the applicable training area 
 may be substituted for two years of experience.NOTE: Students in Course #50
 0 who wish to participate as authorized trainers in the Outreach Program mu
 st successfully pass both a written and performance based exam at the end o
 f the course.\n\nOutreach trainers are required to attend Course #502 at le
