DESCRIPTION:Introduction to incident (accident) investigation provides an i
 ntroduction to basic incident investigation procedures and describes analy
 sis techniques. The goal of this course is to help participants gain the b
 asic skills necessary to conduct an effective incident investigation at th
 eir workplace. The target audience is the small employer\, manager\, emplo
 yee or employee representative who\, as part of a firm safety and health s
 ystem\, would be involved in conducting incident and/or near-miss investig
 ations. Topics include the primary reasons for conducting an incident inve
 stigation\, employer responsibilities related to workplace incident invest
 igations\, and a four-step incident investigation procedure. The course is
  set up as a facilitated\, interactive training session focusing on class
