This ceremony is a formal event for incoming students. It caps off several days of orientation and introductions. During the Assembly, members of the class affirm their commitment to the principles of ethical conduct and standards of professional behavior by reading in unison the Pledge of Professionalism and signing the corresponding Pledge document. A reception supported by the School of Dentistry Alumni Association follows the ceremony in the Pylons lobby.
