Veteran’s Day Flag-Raising & Reception

Time: 9 a.m. (Reception immediately after flag-raising memorial)

Location: The Quad & Mary F. Shipper Library, Rm G6

Cost: Free

The campus and local veterans are invited to take time on Monday, November 11 — Veterans Day — to reflect on the legacy of loyalty and service by the country’s service men and women. Plan to meet at the flagpole on The Quad to observe a short memorial honoring and commemorating all student and area veterans.

Immediately after the flag-raising memorial, plan to attend a reception held at the Mary F. Shipper Library, Room G6. A presentation, “Road to Veterans Day,” will be given by English professor, Dr. Mia Martini. Light refreshments will be served courtesy of the Office of Title III.
