Join us for a conversation about the Right to Food in West Virginia. Discussions with a lecture on the evening of Thursday October 27th, revisiting the movement for fair trade and 10 years of student organizing on WVU's campus for food system equity through FISTHAND Coffee cooperative.

On Friday we will be joined by Alison Cohen and Kayleigh Garthwaite, action and thought leaders in the Right to Food movement in the United States and the United Kingdom. We will foster a conversation about the state of the global movement for the Right to Food and its expression in different socio-economic contexts. This will also be an opportunity for students to learn about campus food policy initiatives underway and participate in the collective work of articulating the Right to Food in a West Virginia context.
