Join us for a 2-hour marquee World Music event on Friday, April 12, with two available start times to choose from. Select the 6pm option to start your evening in the Davis Theatre with two featured ensembles from WVU's World Music Program and then move to the Blaney Lobby for the second half of your evening as you enjoy a spread of finger foods and refreshments and listen to our two Steel Bands perform. Or select the 7pm option to start your evening in the Blaney Lobby with Steel Band music and food before heading to the Davis Theatre for more offerings from our World Music Program.

World Music Showcase concert will be dedicated to the memory of Phil Faini, the founder for the WVU World Music Performance Center. The concert will feature two Steel Bands, the African Music and Dance Ensemble, and Brazilian Ensemble. Special guests include the WVU Jazz Ensemble performing with the Brazilian Ensemble. Refreshments will be served.
