Starry Night Float

Embark on an unforgettable adventure as you experience the magic of a peaceful, starry night while floating on the gentle waves of the tranquil Cheat Lake. Immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of after-dark on the water, combining the tranquility of the lake with the mesmerizing spectacle of the night sky.

• WHEN: Friday, September 13th, 2024 | 7:00-11:00pm.
• WHERE: Outdoor Recreation Center within the Student Recreation Center.
• WHAT: Join us for an exhilarating night of canoeing on Cheat Lake, where you can paddle under the moonlight and gaze at the stars, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
• WHAT TO BRING: Your Guides will email you a packing list the week before your trip. Most essential gear, including boats, is provided. For any questions, email AWVGuidedTrips@mail.wvu.edu.
• GETTING THERE/TRANSPORTATION: The trip departs from the Student Recreation Center on the Evansdale Campus. Please note the PRT only operates until 10 pm on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays. For alternate arrangements, email AWVGuidedTrips@mail.wvu.edu.
