 sted in getting your ham radio license\, Tech-In-A-Day is the WVU Amateur R
 adio Club's streamlined seminar and examination session which covers all th
 e essential knowledge to earn your amateur radio Technician license. The se
 minar runs from 9 AM to noon\, followed by an all-expenses-paid lunch befor
 e testing begins at 1 PM. For current license holders\, feel free to sign u
 p for a license upgrade as well! Steps to pre-register are below.\n\n \n\nI
 NSTRUCTIONS:\n\nCOMPLETE THIS FORM: This information is required for us to 
 coordinate your fancy new license with the FCC. You must register for an FR
 N\; video instructions are included in the form.Come to TIAD! Attend the cl
 ass starting at 9 AM\, or study on your own and only come for the exam at 1
  PM.Pass the licensing exam and receive your license. Upon a successful exa
 mination\, you must pay $35 to the FCC through their online portal. License
 s are typically processed within the week.More information about getting an
  amateur radio license can be found here.Studying\n\nWhile we do try to tea
 ch the essentials\, we also strongly recommend that you study the material 
 beforehand to ensure you’re prepared to pass the exam. Fortunately\, there 
 are many free\, online resources to do so. We primarily recommend hamstudy.
 org! It's free\, easy to use\, and doesn't require an account\; just go to 
 the site\, select the license class you’d like to test for\, and click stud
 y. It has the EXACT question pool that the exams are generated from\, but t
 he specific questions listed on your actual exam will vary.\n\n \n\nIf you
