State-corporate crime refers to the phenomenon where unethical behavior committed by corporations is, at best, condoned by the state and, at worst, carried out in collaboration with the state. Unethical corporate behavior harms every single person on the planet and even threatens the planet itself. This presentation takes a sociological and critical approach to examining this behavior and describes the extent of the harm caused, the various kinds of harm, who is more likely to be harmed, and who benefits the most.
