Attend this exhibition preview co-sponsored by the Research Center on Violence and WVU's Dept of Sociology and Anthropology, showcasing a preview of upcoming art exhibition by WVU alumna artist and therapist Jessie Haring. Through a partnership with Libera, a non-profit in WV assisting the lives of rural girls, we are able to catch a glimpse of the lives of rural incarcerated girls and assist in making an impact. 

A short presentation from 11:30-12pm will include Dr. Walter DeKeseredy, Mackenzie Freeman and Elizabeth Moberly from the Depatment of Sociology and Anthropology; and Beth Currence from Librera. They will discuss research collaboration on rural girls in incarceration and how Libera is making an impact. Jessie Haring will talk about the exhibit and then there will be time for question and answer. Refreshments will be provided.
