If you get a paycheck from WVU, you’ll be using Workday. The new HR and finance system launching in the summer of 2027 will touch every employee working in every location, simplifying and streamlining how we do business. To help you prepare for the changes ahead, the Modernization Program is hosting a monthly demonstration and discussion series, Workday in Action. You’ll get the opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and experience Workday in action!

The March 2026 session will show you how Workday organizes and tracks financial transactions using “worktags,” or intelligent labels like Cost Center, Grant, or Project, to support easier reporting.
