The State 4-H Shooting Sports will host host a level 1 Shooting Sports Instructor Training at Jackson's Mill, Friday and Saturday, November 3 and 4, 2023.

Things to know…

• Volunteers must be fully vetted.
• First Time shooting sports Instructor Volunteers must either complete the required four-hour online training modules before the face-to-face training on November 4 which will be an additional $25 or attend 7 PM in person session at Jackson's Mill in the WV Room at the Lodge on November 3.
• Returning current veteran instructors seeking an additional certification are only required to attend the single day face-to-face training on the 4th.
• Deadline to complete the online training modules is October 31.
• Certification is available in the following disciplines:  Air Pistol, Air Rifle, Archery, Muzzleloader, Shotgun, and Shooting Sports Coordinator. **Wildlife/Hunting is no longer being offering during this training, but will be offered in the February training**
• Registration fee covers materials, meals and overnight dorm lodging as needed. No Private lodging is available this date at the Mill.
• We will be in camp with the State 4-H Teen Leader Weekend and an outside group the same weekend.

Deadline for registration is October 18, or until registration is full.

Registration is required. Registration will be handled through the 4-H ZSuite Online System, opening on August 28, 2023 at 12 a.m. and closing on October 18, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
